Exhibition catalogue accompanying The Hogback Hills exhibition 2024

Hidden away on the Welsh borders is a line of three hills formed from the oldest rocks in southern Britain: Hanter Hill, Worsell Woods and Stanner Rocks National Nature Reserve. Each hill has its own character and habitats, and each is remarkably rich in nature. Tim Craven invited fellow Herefordshire artist Richard Gilbert and me to co-curate a show featuring 21 diverse artists responding to the geology, topography, ecology and human shaping of this special area.??The resulting exhibition was shown in two venues. Sidney Nolan Trust near Presteigne (July-Sep) and RidgeBank Contemporary Art Centre, Kington (Sep-Nov)
