Native Black Poplars

Exhibition of art and poetry with public events
Richard Bavin's drawings of some of Herefordshire's surviving native black poplars, from sapling to ancient, alongside poems by local poet Maggie Reed

Our native black poplar is now the most endangered timber species in the UK. Richard and Maggie celebrate this magnificent tree in their work and hope to raise awareness of its plight and the work going on to try to save it.
